Town/Urban Planner – Planner, Senior and Principal opportunities available Rowe Group is an award-winning multidisciplinary firm specialising in Town Planning, Urban Design and Project Delivery. We have multiple opportunities for experienced town planning professionals to take the next step in their career, so please get in touch. Our business continues to grow and evolve with a multitude of exciting projects throughout Perth and regional Western Australia. Opportunities are available within both our Rowe Group land development / strategic planning (design) and built form / statutory planning (planning) teams; noting we are not necessarily looking for someone to be defined within a set team and are open to exploring opportunities across a range of experience and interests. We take a collaborative approach in the delivery of our projects and work together in the sharing of knowledge and skills to achieve the best outcomes for our clients. We are looking for qualified, experienced Urban Planners, Senior Urban Planners and Principal Urban Planners who have a desire to work on a variety of exciting urban infill, master planned community and regional growth projects for both private and public sector clients. The roles are collaborative, team oriented and Perth-based, with the opportunity for travel to regional WA, and are available on a permanent full-time, or permanent part-time basis. Shorter term, contract work opportunities may also be explored. You should be able to demonstrate experience and qualifications in the following areas: Skills & Knowledge – knowledge of the WA planning system and ability to understand, interpret and communicate plans, policies, guidelines, schemes and design outcomes. Depending on the role and level of experience, you should be able to work independently and provide mentorship and guidance to other team members. Attributes – a team focused, collaborative work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills and a client service ethos. Forward thinking and strategy focused. Qualifications – Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or a related discipline and a current WA driver’s licence. All applicants must have full time working rights within Australia.
