Metro Services is looking to immediately fill Japanese Interpreter & Translator positions for an Automotive Manufacturing facility in Marion, IL. This is a direct-hire position. Apply Now!

Duties for this position include:

• Providing technical interpretation from Japanese to English and English to Japanese in the manufacturing process for the Production Engineering Department
• Providing technical interpretation from Japanese to English and English to Japanese as required for hourly team members and managers
• Providing interpretation during meetings and greeting and interpreting customers or suppliers
• Responsible for all document translation from Japanese to English and English to Japanese for the Production Engineering Department
• Perform all duties in conformance with appropriate safety and security standards
• Perform other reasonably related tasks within the Company as required by the Production Engineering Manager or other members of management

Compensation (USD):

$53,930.00/year

Schedule:

1st Shifts

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
• A high level of written and oral skills in Japanese and English is required
• Good interpretation and translation skills and strong interpersonal skills are required
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed
