POSITION TITLE: Shipping and Order Fulfillment Specialist FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt/HOURLY
REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager LOCATION: Madison, IL
EFFECTIVE DATE: Immediately
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Order Fulfillment, Shipping/Receiving & Inventory Control, Material Handling
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Order Fulfillment
•Inventory tracking & control
•Analyze and reporting of inventory levels
•Shipping and receiving support
•Receipt of goods and verify receipts/complete required paperwork and system input.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
•Experience with an MRP / ERP system a plus
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, with ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners at all levels on a timely basis.
•Strong ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
•Knowledge of continuous improvement/lean manufacturing
•Strong ability to multi-task and manage own time efficiently
•Must have the physical ability to travel within a large-scale plant.
•Fork truck experience
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
•1 – 3 years’ experience with a background in inventory management
•Experience with Microsoft Office Products
•Formatting, IF Statements, charts and graphs
•Ability to organize work into priorities and meet deadlines.
•Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy required
