LHH is partnering with an esteemed hospitality company, renowned for its long tenure and family-oriented team culture to hire a Staff Accountant in San Diego, CA. Our client prides themselves on fostering a positive work environment and offering flexible schedules, with start times ranging from as early as 6:00 am to as late as 9:00 am.

 

Job Description: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably within the hospitality industry, and will thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable for various departments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Code and audit invoices for accuracy before inputting them into the accounting system.

• Cut checks and reconcile accounts to maintain accurate financial records.

• Participate in the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, accruals, and reports.

• Prepare credit card reconciliations.

• Assist with other accounting tasks and projects as needed.

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.

• Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

• Experience in the hospitality industry is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Details: $27.00 to $29.00 per hour
