Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SEO Manager with over 7 years of experience to lead our SEO efforts. The ideal candidate must possess excellent knowledge of WordPress and be adept at executing comprehensive SEO strategies to improve our online presence and drive organic traffic.
Key Responsibilities: - Keyword Research/URL Mapping: Conduct in-depth keyword research and map URLs to optimize website content.
- Title & Meta Tag Optimization: Optimize title and meta tags to improve search engine rankings and click-through rates.
- Heading / Image Tag Optimization: Optimize headings and image tags for SEO and accessibility.
- Blog Post/Content Creation: Create and manage blog content, ensuring the publication of at least two high-quality posts per month.
- Google My Business (GMB) Optimization: Optimize and manage Google My Business listings, including GMB embed and posts.
- Link Building: Develop and implement effective link-building strategies to enhance domain authority.
- Dashboard Reporting: Generate and analyze SEO performance reports to inform strategic decisions.
- Review Meetings: Lead regular review meetings to assess SEO progress and align with business goals.
- Website Changes/Some Maintenance: Perform necessary updates and maintenance on the website, ensuring optimal performance.
- Website Technical Audit: Conduct technical audits to identify and resolve website issues that may impact SEO.
- Custom 404 Pages: Design and implement custom 404 error pages to improve user experience.
- Robots.txt Optimization: Optimize robots.txt files to ensure proper indexing by search engines.
- Site Map Creation and Submission: Create and submit XML sitemaps to search engines, including Google, Bing, Apple, and others.
- Local Citation Audit: Conduct audits of local citations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Wireframes/Design Changes: Collaborate with design teams to implement wireframes and design changes that align with SEO best practices.
- Google Analytics/Search Console Setup: Set up and manage Google Analytics and Search Console to track and improve website performance.
- Inbound Content Marketing: Develop and execute inbound content marketing strategies, particularly focusing on public relations (PRs).
- Rich Snippets or Structured Data: Implement rich snippets or structured data to enhance search engine listings and improve click-through rates.
Requirements: - Proven experience in SEO with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
- Expert knowledge of WordPress, including plugins and theme customization.
- Strong understanding of on-page and off-page SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, etc.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and team management abilities.
- Experience with technical SEO, including website audits and optimization.
- Ability to stay updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.
Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).
