Job Summary:

The Senior Organizational Development Specialist is responsible for leading the development of training programs, facilitating change management initiatives, and reviewing current development programs to ensure alignment with Care New England's strategic initiatives.

The role will build human capital through employee development programs throughout the Care New England system. Measures employee performance to gauge the success the success of programs and identify areas of improvement for future programs.

The Senior Organizational Development Specialist serves as the system lead for programs including New Employee Orientation and New Manager Orientation.

Provides formal and informal coaching and mentoring to all levels of employees regarding interpersonal situations, team cohesiveness, and development planning.

Serves as a key Organizational Development resource and internal consultant to employees, managers and the Human Resources team.

Assess, design, develop, implement and evaluate an effective cadre of innovative training and organizational development solutions using recognized instructional system design (ISD) methods that are value-added and offered across the health system - promoting positive change, greater efficiency, open communication and healthier conflict management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assess, design, develop, implement and evaluate New Employee Orientation & New Manager Orientation.

Facilitate team building workshops, exercises, or programs to enhance the cohesiveness of teams using CNE’s competency-based framework, tools, and processes.

Build effective employee communication programs to enhance corporate culture, employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.

Provide formal and informal coaching to all levels of employees regarding interpersonal situations, team cohesiveness, and development planning, while preserving and protecting employee and organizational rights to privacy and confidentiality.

Support planned change efforts that may vary in scope and purpose, providing the support and mechanism to implement changes to the operations of the business.

Serve as internal OD consultant to management and HR team, helping to effectively integrate the use of training and development, organizational development, and career development to improve individual, group and organizational effectiveness.

Analyze and interpret survey data and business trends from various sources using data collection tools and assessment methods impacting performance, talent, climate, engagement and bench strength, to influence change and improve systems and processes.

Assist in developing goals and policies for Care New England.

Maintain own professional growth and development.

Perform special projects and related duties as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Education, Human Resources or Related Field Required.

Minimum 7 years experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with multiple audiences are required, and an ability to cultivate trusting working relationships with people from a large range of backgrounds.

Strong organizational and time management skills to meet the needs of changing project requirements in a complex work environment. MS Office skills required.
