Insight Global is seeking a Retail Sales Director to support a global denim brand who is set to open their first retail storefronts in the United States. This role will report directly to the VP of Sales (U.S.) and support the 8 NE region storefront openings to start, and eventually help with the expansion to a total of 18 locations across the U.S. in the next two - three years. We are seeking a qualified individual who is passionate about helping to create a heritage/lifestyle brand for what has historically been a wholesale brand.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Hiring/Training Retail Staff
- Preparation of materials related to retail sales operations policy and procedures
- Train staff on product knowledge and nuances of the brand
- KPI development and management
- Work along VP of Sales to manage the opening of 8+ retail storefronts in the Northeast region and beyond
- Working with Marketing/Branding to create a brand identity in the U.S.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in an area manager or similar function
- Experience hiring/building high-performing sales teams – new store opening – multiple locations concurrently
- Experience with sales development – training sales team to constantly improve store sales
- Passionate about product – apparel/footwear product background – ability to story tell about the product
- Experience curating a consumer experience – how do we tell a story through branding/product experience in store/ Brand positioning
- Experience managing multiple retail sales teams
