job summary:
Our client near Boston, MA is looking to add an EHS Safety Coordinator for a 6 month contract opportunity. Candidates will need a Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety or a related field. This role is 100% onsite and requires around 10% of travel annually. responsibilities:

• Provide EHS support to the site's Facilities and Project Management Teams.

• Collaborate with Facilities and Project Management Teams to offer guidance and support for high-risk activities.

• Support site capital projects and manufacturing plant shutdowns.

• Oversee EHS functions in manufacturing areas, warehouses, laboratories, and offices.

• Maintain EHS permits and licenses.

• Perform required inspections and investigations.

• Gather and analyze data for reports and EHS software management.

• Develop and deliver training programs.

• Assemble metrics and support sustainability initiatives.

• Focus on EHS project and program ownership.
