About the Role

The Company is in search of a President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its not-for-profit fraternal life insurance benefit organization. The successful candidate will be the primary driver of the company's vision and strategy, with a key focus on meeting members' financial security needs and fostering future membership growth. This role requires a deep appreciation of fraternal organizations, a commitment to benevolence, and a thorough understanding of the life insurance and annuity industry, including finance, investments, actuarial and underwriting principles, and independent agent sales distribution. The CEO will also be responsible for maintaining the organization's financial strength, serving as its ambassador, and upholding a culture of transparency, integrity, and community leadership. Applicants must have more than 10 years' experience in the life insurance and annuity industry, with a background in executive leadership and a history of working with or serving on a Board of Directors. A Bachelor's degree relevant to the industry is required, with a preference for candidates holding an MBA or industry certifications. The role involves close collaboration with the Board of Directors, staff, and key constituencies to ensure the organization's mission is aligned with its financial responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be adept at balancing the needs of the members with the company's fiduciary duties, and will be skilled in developing and maintaining performance standards across all areas of the business.
