We are seeking a dedicated Catering Service Worker to join our team and deliver exceptional catering services to various university events and functions.

Job Summary: The Catering Service Worker is responsible for organizing, setting up, and delivering catering services to designated locations or conference rooms on campus. This role involves providing prompt, courteous, and attentive service to ensure that all catering needs are met and that customers' expectations are exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and prepare catering orders based on customer requests and event requirements.
• Set up catering services, including arranging food, beverages, and service equipment at the specified location or conference room.
• Deliver catering services promptly and professionally, ensuring all items are properly presented and ready for use.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any requests or concerns and ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
• Assist with the breakdown and cleanup of catering setups after events, ensuring all items are collected and returned to the appropriate locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of catering equipment and supplies.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
• Collaborate with the catering team and other university departments to ensure smooth event execution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in catering, food service, or a customer-facing role is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on providing courteous and attentive service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Capable of lifting and carrying items, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation for delivering catering services across campus.
