Join Reid Petroleum, a trusted leader in the fuel industry for over 100 years. We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Development Intern eager to grow their skills in data-driven solutions and contribute to impactful BI projects. Gain hands-on experience in SQL, Power BI, API integrations, and explore AI-driven insights as we integrate Large Language Models (LLM) into our workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and optimizing SQL queries and databases using MSSQL.
• Support the creation of data models and data pipelines for reporting.
• Collaborate on API integrations and troubleshoot data exchanges.
• Help build and maintain SSRS and Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Explore LLM processing and assist in text analysis tasks.
• Analyze data to extract insights and support business units with ad-hoc reports.

Qualifications:

• Education: Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field. Relevant certifications or bootcamp experience welcome.
• Experience: Basic experience with MSSQL, Power BI, SSRS, and APIs.
• Technical Skills: Working knowledge of SQL; interest in AI/machine learning is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based BI platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) or Python is a plus.
