A Technical Publications Specialist position is currently available with Belcan in St. Charles, MO. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits or contract position. Great matching candidates will have a bachelor's degree with experience performing technical publication and Product Support Analysis Tasks.
Job Duties:
- Develop and implement maintenance tasks. Trouble Shoot Procedures, Maintenance Operational Check (MOC's) and Flight manuals. Develop procedures and techniques to allow users to maintain and repair products. Analyze complex engineering designs and design changes to determine maintenance/repair requirements, procedures, and instructions. Influence product designs and processes to ensure supportability and maintainability. Required Qualifications: * * Experience with Surface to Surface and/or Surface to Air Military Weapons
- Experience testing and troubleshooting avionics * Experience with Military Aircraft technical manuals and drawings * Experience analyzing and interpreting engineering data for inclusion into maintenance manuals and technical publications * Experience reading and interpreting blueprints * Successful candidate will be a self-starter with a high priority on first-time quality and customer satisfaction while handling conflict situations calmly and dependably while having the capability to adapt to change * Effective oral and written collaborative engineering environment communication skills * Ability to effectively present oral and written engineering requirements and results * Ability to work seamlessly in an IPT environment and across facilities and groups * * Legal authorization to work in the US required Preferred Qualifications & Skills: * Aircraft Maintenance Manuals * Illustrated Parts Catalog * Fault Isolation Manual * Writing publications, including analysis and working with design engineering * * Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Powerpoint * * Must be a U.S. Citizen * Must be available to begin work immediately in St Charles, MO Compensation: We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of
$85,000 to 100,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
