We are a 110 years old convenience store distribution company dedicated to providing top-quality products and services to our clients. We are currently seeking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Buyer and Merchandiser to join our team.

Job Description:
The Assistant Buyer and Merchandiser will work a few days a week in the office assisting with purchasing decisions, analyzing sales data, and coordinating with suppliers. On other days, the role will involve travelling to various store locations in your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed), ensuring product displays are optimized and well-stocked. The position also requires overnight travel once a month, fully covered by the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the purchasing process, including vendor communication and product selection.
• Travel to assigned convenience stores to ensure proper merchandising, product placement, and inventory levels.
• Work closely with store managers to ensure adherence to planograms and promotional activities.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for new products.
• Collaborate with the team to optimize product offerings and pricing strategies.
• Maintain positive relationships with store owners and staff.

Requirements:

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided).
• Willingness to travel locally and for overnight trips once a month for couple of days
• Experience in retail, merchandising, or buying is a plus but not required.
