Salary: $17 - $22 per hour, based on experience

About the Role: Are you enthusiastic about customer service and have a passion for the retail and trade industries? We are seeking a dynamic Trade Mart Customer Service Representative to join our team in Metro Detroit. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to trade professionals and customers, assist with product inquiries, and support the overall operations of our trade mart. If you enjoy interacting with people and have a strong service-oriented mindset, this position is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist trade professionals and customers, providing information about products and services.
• Handle customer inquiries, including product availability, pricing, and order status.
• Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the products and brands offered at the trade mart.
• Assist in merchandising and organizing product displays, ensuring a visually appealing and well-stocked environment.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly, escalating to management when necessary.
• Collaborate with the sales team to support customer needs and promote special events or promotions.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher is a plus.
• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a retail or trade environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy setting.
• Proficiency in using computers and CRM systems.
• A positive attitude and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of the trade and retail industry is a plus.
