Job Duties/Description
  • Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates.
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport.
  • Owning the candidate experience from start to end and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience: understanding candidate goals and needs, qualifying their competency and culture fit, managing the feedback loop, and coordinating an expedient and seamless interview process.
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  • Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements and using job sites.
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Applicant Tracking System
  • Improves organizational attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; and emphasizing benefits and perks.
  • Source and screen for positions including scheduling candidates for face to face, video, and phone interviews w/ hiring managers.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new hires.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Possess a high sense of urgency and with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Indeed, LinkedIn, and other various job forums is a plus.
