POSITION: TAX PREPARER
LOCATION: ARCADIA CA.
WORK TYPE TEMPORARY POSITION 40 HRS/WEEK

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Seasonal Tax Preparers to join our team for the 2025 tax season. This is a temporary seasonal position from January to April 2025 with a possible extension to October. This role offers a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional environment.

Job Summary: The Seasonal Tax Preparers will be responsible for preparing individual and business tax returns ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. This role requires excellent attention to detail strong analytical skills and the ability to provide outstanding service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual corporate partnership and trust tax returns.
• Review financial records income statements and other documents to ensure accurate tax return preparation.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on the status of their tax returns.
• Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of all client information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• Active or pending CPA license is a plus.
• Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of tax preparation experience.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g. Lacerte or similar systems).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work fulltime hours during the tax season (January to April 2025).
