Job Description:

This position is for an experienced Supply Chain Delivery Assurance Analyst role to join a growing aerospace team. As an important part of the Supply Chain team, you will actively be providing critical value to our customers by helping to ensure their suppliers deliver aerospace components to meet operational goals.

This role will work with the team, as well as our major aerospace customer, to coordinate with suppliers to understand risks, perform assessments/audits, measure/track performance, and actively drive supplier improvement strategies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Supply Chain Managers, Operations, Value Stream leaders, and Procurement team to understand critical supplier parts, escalate issues, obtain supplier commits, identify improvement opportunities, and generate priorities based on business unit and site needs.
• Work with suppliers to coordinate procurement and shipment of critical components, review recovery plans, improve commit compliance and integrity, drive accountability, and expedite outside processing.
• Improve visibility into material availability and clear internal obstacles to ensure parts move through approval processes (e.g. quality inspections, FAI reviews, engineering changes).
• Conduct supplier assessments, track performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions and improvement initiatives.
• Provide recommendations to suppliers for continuous improvement to supply chain processes, tools, and training.
• Regularly present supplier performance progress, action items, challenges, and risks to stakeholders and attend weekly meetings to provide status updates.
• Provide coaching and training internally.
• Adhere to import, export, and procurement regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Associate's degree and 8+ year(s) of relevant experience (Supply Chain domain).
• Aerospace industry experience.
• SAP and Tableau experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• An understanding of engineering outsourcing business practices.
• Knowledge of supply chain management.
• Experience in procurement and/or contract management.
• Exposure to project or program management.
• Exposure to engineering and quality processes.
• Knowledge of various manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of LEAN.
• An ability to build positive intercompany relationships.
• Outstanding communication and reporting skills.
• An ability to work independently without day-to-say supervision.
