Staff Accountant - Confidential Birmingham Company Birmingham, AL | $64,000-$68,000 | Full-Time | Onsite A stable, well-run Birmingham company is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on accounting, values consistency, and wants to work in a supportive environment where accuracy matters.
What You'll Do - Prepare journal entries and monthly reconciliations
- Support AP/AR review and processing
- Assist with month-end close and reporting
- Help with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Collaborate with departments that rely on clean financial data
Who You Are - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-4 years of experience in corporate accounting or public
- Strong attention to detail; organized; dependable
- Someone who likes being part of a team that runs smoothly
