General expectations
Must be licensed in Arizona
Hours 7:45-4:00, Monday-Friday, for full-time positions
Hours 7:45-4:00, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, for part-time
Follow the weekly duty schedule
Participate in staff development opportunities
Attend staff meetings monthly
Participate in Pathways community-building events
Meet weekly with the supervising SLP
Therapy
Provide direct student therapy
1:1 direct therapy per the direction of the SLP following the student's IEP
Communication Lab small group therapy - (Internal language curriculum)
Weekly social skills small group instruction under the direction of SLP (will train for the curriculum)
IEP responsibilities
Maintain detailed session notes with accurate data collection
Report progress and service notes for IEP goals quarterly under the supervision and support of the SLP
Provide input and information to the supervising SLP
Compensation
Depends on experience, ranging from 1st year-new graduate SLPA $27/hr and up based on experience and training
Benefits - requires 30 hours a week
