We are currently looking for a Social Media Strategist to add to our dynamic team. About The Role: Ziff Davis Shopping is seeking a passionate, results-oriented individual to join a seasoned digital marketing team to help build and manage performance-driven social strategy across our brands. The Social Media Strategist is responsible for designing social media strategies to achieve marketing targets. The ideal candidate has direct experience executing content across platforms, including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and emerging. The ideal candidate will step into a role where their innovative thoughts translate into captivating digital tales. What Youll Do:
- Develop and execute channel-specific, captivating social media strategies on social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and more.
- Plan, create, and publish high-quality content, from writing compelling, on-brand copy to producing engaging visual content tailored to each platform.
- Conduct analysis of target audiences and content performance, using data-driven insights to develop strategies for maximizing engagement, reach, and audience growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to strategize social-first marketing opportunities tied to shopping trends, key brand moments, and tentpole events.
- Monitor and research trending content to proactively recommend and test new formats, platforms, and strategic approaches that keep our brand at the forefront of social innovation.
- Craft timely, engaging comments and interactions in response to trends and community conversation to drive engagement and grow our channels.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of full-time experience in a social media management role
- In-depth knowledge of social trends and prior experience in content creator across Social Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and emerging)
- Proficient in visual editing tools and platforms, including Canva
- Strong grammar, strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and KPIs. Experience with native platform analytics and third-party tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Later, Asana)
- Independent, yet collaborative mindset.
- Eagerness to take initiative to solve problems and exceed objectives
- Ability to work in a results-oriented and fast-paced environment, both as part of a team and individually
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- E-commerce experience is a plus
- Eagerness to test and innovate
- Passion for the retail, CPG, QSR, or savings/commerce space preferred

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000-$75,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
