Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support the National Background Investigation Services (NBIS). The SRE will be responsible for cloud operations and health monitoring. This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineering professional to build skills in cloud operations, infrastructure automation, observability, and incident response within a high-performance team supporting classified and unclassified mission platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical expertise in all deliverables including to system requirements, Solution Engineering, and System Design Documentation.
• Study complex IT organizations to generate and track requirements across the lifecycle of an organization through road maps, project plans, and collaboration technologies.
• Lead solution engineering, analysis of alternatives, and system design, including database design.
• Discover and report discrepancies between the enterprise architecture, IT strategy, and the system designs, and provide recommendations for remediation.
• Communicate across customer management infrastructure and other stakeholders to educate end users and decision makers on the importance of software development lifecycle documentation and rationale.
• Provide continuous monitoring support (PWS).
• Onboard tenants to SSO, monitoring, and other common services.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• US Citizenship required with an active Secret clearance or interim Secret clearance.

The estimated salary range is $100,000.00 - $140,000.00, commensurate on experience, technical expertise, certifications, and clearance level.

Primary work location is the Washington DC Metro area.
