Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic Installer

Location: DFW Area

Position Summary:

We’re hiring a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to install, fabricate, and maintain sheet metal systems for various construction projects in the DFW Area. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a commitment to quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and assemble sheet metal systems, including ducts and vents, based on blueprints and specifications.
• Measure, cut, and bend sheet metal using tools and equipment.
• Inspect and repair existing sheet metal systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions.
• Follow safety protocols, use PPE, and adhere to OSHA guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work with project managers, foremen, and other tradespeople to coordinate installations and resolve issues.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a sheet metal mechanic, preferably in commercial or industrial settings.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and using sheet metal tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant trades training and certifications preferred.
• OSHA 10-hour certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong communicator with a positive attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
