Overview Are you seeking an exciting Sales Consulting role? Are you a high achieving Sales professional with experience in the automotive, insurance, real estate, telecommunications, home remodelling, windows or roofing industry with strong canvassing skills and experience in Direct Sales? Mpower Solar is a New York-based energy supplier and solar installer specializing in 100% renewable energy. We service residential and commercial customers across 11 states, and we are growing every day! Mpower’s success has been largely due to our relentless efforts to develop our in-house sales staff and have them fast-track through the ranks into leadership roles. Mpower proudly offers an exciting opportunity for a full-time W-2 Residential Solar Consultant at our Bronx, NY office. Our team of appointment setters will schedule qualified appointments for you to meet with homeowners. The Solar Sales Consultant is an integral part of the Solar Division, being the primary point of contact with customers and providing them with details on the benefits of going solar. The ideal candidate will utilize strong critical thinking skills, an ambitious attitude, and a strong work ethic to effectively demonstrate the benefits of partnering with Mpower for their Solar needs. Responsibilities: Conduct sales presentations with prospective customers in their home Educate potential clients about the benefits of solar–saving + environment Analyze electricity usage to confirm customer wants and needs while developing rapport to enable you to close the sale Manage accounts from an initial consultation to the installation Ensure a positive and high-quality customer experience Participate in ongoing training camps focused on increasing your earning potential, team building, and mentoring from our leaders Qualifications Culture: In-office daily collaboration Inter-office competitions Monthly office events Company Holiday Parties Annual Company Conference Presidents Club Income Expectation: Daily direct marketing leads are provided On Target Earnings: $150k-$200k Monthly car stipend: $300.00 Potential to enroll into Senior Solar Consultant within 12 months and earn 2x Solar Consultant Earnings Qualifications: 3+ year of experience as an Inhome Consultant in Home remodelling , windows, roofing, Insurance, automotive, real estate or telecommunications sales are great transferable sales skills and knowledge. Canvassing and direct sales skills and experience are essential Bilingual Englsih/Spanish or English/Mandarin preferred Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Positive, solution-oriented attitude Outgoing personality Valid driver's license and clean driving record; own vehicle Competitive salary starting $150,000-$200,000; Base, commissions, bonuses
