A full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner position is now available with Liberty Healthcare’s mental health program at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, CA.
This role primarily focuses on providing “outpatient” psychiatric care to adult inmates within the jail.
You will have the opportunity to positively impact the health and wellbeing of very many justice-involved adults who are experiencing mental illness – and you will work alongside a very talented group of Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and mental health clinicians.
This position offers also a very good professional / personal life balance – and the option to work a traditional five-day workweek or compressed four-day workweek.

You are a good fit for this position if you are certified by the ANCC as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and licensed professionally in California. At least one year of experience prescribing is required.
