Genesis10 is currently seeking a Product Designer with our client in their Mountain View, CA location. This is a 12-month contract position. Summary:
This role, due to the business needs of the team, requires employees to be physically present in the specified office on a full-time basis. This helps to ensure you are best equipped to be successful and have the experience you need to fulfil the responsibilities of the role.
We are looking for a User Experience Designer to join our team.
To be considered for this position, you must include your portfolio, website or other samples of work.
Responsibilities: - Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of user-centered design process.
- Create holistic design solutions that address business, brand and user requirements.
- Work with web developers and engineers to deliver final products.
Requirements: - Figma - Advanced skills - 3+ years - Recent experience.
- Advanced experienced with latest AI tools - wireframe/mocks - data visualization.
- BA/BS degree in graphic design, design communication, human-computer interaction or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4+ years' experience in user experience design or industry experience (corporate, software, web or agency).
- Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with cross-functional teams (including user research, product management and engineering).
- Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications.
- Solid understanding of user-centered and web design principles as well as current web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
- Ability to present cohesive design approaches to a non-design audience (including business, product and technology teams).
- Ability to create information architecture diagrams, wireframes, prototypes and screen flows.
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision.
- Ability to grasp multiple product requirements with careful attention to detail.

Pay rate range: $68.56 - $85.70 hourly.
