Job Description

We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual who is interested in a fast-growing company that encourages professional admancement, fosters teamwork, and rewards ingenuity. The ideal candidate for our 3rd Shift Plastic Mold Injection Tool & Die Maker position would have previous experience in hot runner trouble shooting, mole polishing, and tig welding. The third shift hours are Sunday through Thursday 10:45pm - 7:15am.

Responsibilities:

• Thorough knowledge and the abiltiyt to set-up and operate lathes, mills and surface grinders.
• Maintain and repair hot runner systems.
• CNC set-up, program, operate (Haas, OKK).
• Maintain repair and retrofit injection mold components.
• Follows all safety stadards and procedures according to OSHA and ANSI regulations and standards.
• Work with engineers, and process technicians in regard to mold repairs and repair in the machine.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years experience in a machinist environment preferred.
• Journeyman tool and die/machinist card is a plus.
• Must be willing to stay current with technology through continuous education.
• Excellent communication skills internallly and externally.
• Needs to be a stsrong team player, with exceptional organizational and problem solving skills.
• Knowledgeable in TIG welding.
• Gibbs Cam & SolidWorks knowledge a plus.
• Background in injection preferred with the ability to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot injection molds.

• CNC Tooling
• Troubleshooting Skills
• Tool/Die/Mold Repair Skills
• High School / GED

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) (Haas)
• Manual Vertical Mill
