The Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) works under the direction of the Chief, Strategic Planning, Policy, and Training Section (SPPTS) in the Division of Operations, CPR, and acts as a highly skilled, technical program expert, assisting with strategic planning efforts and coordination across branches for strategic planning input and assessment. The AGPA coordinates CPR efforts for center-wide staff development for specialized training in emergency preparedness, recovery, response operations as well as administrative processes and assists the Strategic Planning, Policy and Training Team with other large-scale special projects as necessary. This position coordinates joint administrative and operations efforts and is responsible for obtaining consensus between the Division of Operations and the Division of Program and Response, including the facilitation of various task forces, work groups, and other complex projects impacting the CPR Divisions, often under short deadlines. The AGPA is responsible for assisting with surveys and interviews with CDPH subject matter experts and local stakeholders to research, review, and evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of responses and identify gaps.
In order to address urgent operational needs or conduct emergency-related response activities, incumbent may, on occasion, be required to work outside core business hours, travel, and transport up to 25 lbs. Up to 5% travel is required.
