Position Summary


In addition to abiding by all college policies, including those in the faculty handbook, a part-time professor (adjunct) teaches courses/contact hours as determined by their credentials and college needs.

Duties and responsibilities

• % - The college's primary objective is to provide educational opportunities of excellent quality to its students within a professional environment wherein knowledge, creativity, discipline and character are developed. Therefore, the teaching activities and the personal conduct of the professor shall be supportive of this purpose and of the policies and philosophy of the college. Note: The part-time professor is not guaranteed a specific number or title of any course(s). Assignments for classes are on an as-needed basis, dependent on the needs of the college. - (Essential)

Minimum Qualifications: Terminal degree in related discipline.
Teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred.
Experience or knowledge of related industries.
Ability to be credentialed through SACSCOC guidelines or justified to teach.
