Position Summary:
This position is accountable for the coordination and/or management of information systems used in the areas of Medical Imaging. Duties include assisting in the implementation, monitoring, supporting, and trouble shooting the functionality of the information systems while maintaining effective operations. Provides support to physicians, technologists and other medical staff in the acquisition and distribution of digital patient records and statistical reporting. Will test processes through the review, analysis, witness, and certification of software.
Qualifications:
Requires minimum two (2) years experience with PACS or related technology. Must have demonstrated knowledge of the overall workflow of Medical Imaging. Must possess the ability to effectively train others in computer skills related to the relevant systems and have strong analytical and problem solving skills. Must have the ability to effectively relate and communicate with internal and external customers. Prefer college degree - Year in Business, Healthcare, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
CIIP-Certified Imaging Informatics Professional
CRT-CA Radiologic Technologist License
