EDUCATION

MA or MFA degree in Theatre preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Three (3) years work experience as a costume designer.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

A broad knowledge of costume history Ability to sew, alter and dye costumes Familiarity with applicable safety codes and practices Excellent organizational skills and time management of tasks Ability to supervise and instruct staff and students Excellent written and verbal communication skills Willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends HCC
