Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • The purpose of this position will be to help the instructor of Math 98 and Math 107 grade and proctor weekly homework.
  • Grade the homework submitted by students according to the grading rubric, and provide feedback on errors.
  • Post and manage homework grade records on blackboard.
  • Watch proctored exam videos to evaluate for academic honesty according to the math department proctoring policies. - (Essential)

Required Competencies

  • Basic skills of communicating with the instructor, time management.
  • Mastery of math content covered in Math 98 and 107 or higher.

Minimum Requirements

  • Have taken and passed Math 107 or above with an A or B
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
