QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or training in performance responsibilities. Preferred experience in supporting special programs to include English Language Learner, Compensatory Education, Indian Education, and the McKinney-Vento Homeless program. Preferred knowledge of federal program assessments and federal program reporting.
REPORTS TO:
Coordinator of Federal Programs
JOB GOAL:
Supports the Coordinator of Federal Programs in the implementation, evaluation, compliance of federal, state, and district programs, such as English Language Learner Program, Compensatory Education, Indian Education, and the McKinney-Vento Homeless program.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with reports to federal and state educational agencies to ensure compliance for funding.
Supports the Coordinator of Federal Programs to ensure compliance and program effectiveness.
Completes data entry for program compliance.
Prepares specialized reports for program compliance.
Maintain program specific budgets.
Input data to maintain, update, and process grant information.
Stays current on legal requirements concerning federal and state programs, including attending professional meetings and workshops as appropriate.
Supports the preparation of materials and documentation prior to monitoring visits.
Supports the district responsibilities regarding federal programs.
Performs other job duties as assigned.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software, preferred accounting used software and Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and other appropriate technology software).
The ability to type 40 wpm.
Knowledge of appropriate business machines and telephones.
Monitor special system(s), not limited to, including security and fire alarm systems.
