We are seeking a Network Administrator to become an integral part of our team in the Stone/Glass/Concrete Manufacturing industry. Based in Buford, Georgia, the selected candidate will assist in network design, support users, and maintain network equipment. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and implementation of networks
• Provide technical support for a variety of operating systems
• Install and configure computer network equipment ensuring optimal performance
• Maintain network connectivity across all computer workstations
• Provide timely network support to users, resolving any issues that arise
• Maintain and manage servers, associated hardware, applications, services, and settings
• Develop policies for the use of network resources and monitor their implementation
• Implement and manage disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security
• Evaluate and recommend necessary security improvements and system upgrades
• Create and maintain network users/permissions, ensuring compatibility with system upgrades
• Test the release of products to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility
• Create technical support documentation for systems and applications.• Proven experience in network administration within the stone/glass/concrete manufacturing industry
• Proficiency in managing Cisco routers and utilizing Cisco technologies
• Familiarity with Citrix technologies and Dell technologies
• Experience with database management and active directory setup
• Expertise in backup technologies and computer hardware management
• Ability to handle configuration management and oversee deployments
• Strong technical problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Familiarity with IT security protocols and data protection measures
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred
• Relevant detail oriented certifications (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Associate) would be advantageous.
