A little about this position:

• Grooming: Responsible for any and all snow cat grooming on June Mountain.
• Oversees all operations of Slope Maintenance department including but not limited to equipment and employees.
• Coordinates maintenance of any and all machines.
• Provides scheduling of all Snow Cat Operators.
• Responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of a rigorous training program.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of the Snow Cat fleet management system, including the development and implementation of reporting tools.
• Manages construction projects, including the coordination of outside contractors.
• Must manage fuel, wages and repair cost within budgetary guidelines set by department head.
• Responsible for any or all other responsibilities as assigned.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Snowmaking: Plan and implement fall and winter snow making activities, manage base area water agreement with JL PUD.
• Snow Removal: Responsible to oversee parking lot snow removal, equipment management, snow storage, etc.
• Erosion Control: Manage spring snow melt to California Regional Water Control Board - Lahontan Region standards.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have 3-4 years of Snow Cat experience
• 2-3 years of management experience preferred
• Must be flexible for work hours including day shift, swing shift, and grave shift
• Possession of a commercial driving license, including HAZMAT endorsements

Pay: $66,560.00 - $69,860.00 per year
