TheraEx Staffing Services - APP is seeking a Physician Assistant Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery for a locum tenens job in Clackamas, Oregon.
Job Description & Requirements Job Details:
•\tPay: $130 Hr.
•\tCoverage dates: ASAP – 3-6 Months with option to extend
•\tCardiothoracic Physician Assistant or Experienced Nurse Practitioner (Must have RNFA Certification if NP)
•\tSetting: Hospital & Clinic settings
•\tSchedule: Monday - Friday, OR – 7:00a-3:45p; Inpatient Rounding 7:15a-3:45p
•\tDaily Responsibilities: Inpatient Rounding, OR (Mainly Hospital) – Depending on how many cases prescheduled, 1 provider scheduled for OR, 1 Back up, and 2 scheduled to do the rounding on the floor. Depending on providers skill level, they may be assigned to OR.
•\tPulling Epicardial Wires, Chest Tubes, Vein Harvesting and MUST be proficient in EVH and First Assist. Radial artery harvest experience
•\tCall Schedule/Responsibilities: 1:4 Rotation between providers. 1:4 weekday and 1:4 weekends. On Weekdays will likely get a handful of calls but rarely go in. On Weekends, Provider will round in the AM for a few hours then be on call the remainder of the time. Will take calls but not likely to go back in.
•\tPatients per shift: Generally, 2 OR cases per day. 10-15 patients per day if they are rounding.
•\tEMR: Epic
•\tCredentialing timeframe: 45-60 Days upon application submitted.
Requirements:
•\tActive unrestricted OR License
•\tActive ACLS & BLS certifications
•\tMinimum 3 years of experience
•\tBoard Certified
•\tVaccination Requirement: Required with Booster
•\tFull-time coverage is mandatory—no deviations from the requested schedule will be accepted.
•\tMust be able to provide at least 2 supervisory references.
