Job Title: Landscaper - Lawn Maintenance
Type: Full time W2 Landscaper
Compensation: $18 - $20 /hr
Location: Concord, NC
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated landscaper who specializes in lawn maintenance to join our team. As a landscaper, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper care and maintenance of lawns, gardens, and outdoor landscapes. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional service and create visually appealing and well-maintained outdoor spaces for our clients. Landscaper Responsibilities: - Perform regular lawn maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing debris.
- Operate and maintain various lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools.
- Maintain and care for plants, trees, and shrubs by watering, fertilizing, pruning, and applying pesticides or herbicides as needed.
- Identify and address common lawn and plant diseases, pests, and weed problems.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of lawns and landscapes.
- Assist in the design and installation of new landscapes, including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with clients, understanding their needs, and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Keep detailed records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and practices while operating equipment and handling chemicals.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, techniques, and equipment through professional development and training opportunities.
Landscaper Qualifications: - Proven experience in lawn maintenance, landscaping, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques, plant identification, and horticultural practices.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining lawn care equipment.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and their installation and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and address common lawn and plant issues.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions, lift heavy objects, and operate machinery.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
