Job Description

Position purpose

The Mechanical Designer creates mechanical fabrication drawings and documents for production using Autodesk, Inventor and Vault.

Responsibilities

• Review project requirements
• Produce 3D drawings based on specs
• Interact with sales and project engineering to resolve questions
• Revise drawings to meet customer final requirements
• Create BOM and do calculations to ensure accuracy
• Other duties as assigned
• Create a Bill of Materials and Perform Calculations to ensure accuracy
• Produce 3D Models based on product and customer specifications
• Interact with Sales and Project Engineering
• Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 1-2 Years experience using Autodesk Inventor 2020 or higher.
• Read and comprehend customer specifications
• Ability to read and comprehend P&ID’s
