We are currently seeking a dedicated Sheet Metal Journeyperson to join our team and contribute to our commitment to excellence.

️ Key Responsibilities

As a Sheet Metal Journeyperson, you will:

• Fabricate and Install: Produce and install sheet metal components such as HVAC ducts/equipment and custom metalwork according to blueprints and specifications.

• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine material requirements and fabrication processes.

• Metal Shaping: Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery like shears, brakes, and presses to cut, bend, and shape sheet metal.

• Assembly and Joining: Weld, solder, rivet, or bolt metal parts together to form complete structures or components.

• Installation and Repair: Install sheet metal products and systems, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening.

• Maintenance: Inspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.

✅ Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or similar role is highly beneficial. It is a requirement to have no less than 6 years of previous experience in our trade. Verification will be required in order to receive our top pay & benefits.

• Skills: Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and equipment; ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as lift training, OSHA cards, first-aid/CPR, etc. are advantageous.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various positions.

• Communication: Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
