Job Summary of Roles and Responsibilities POWER Engineers, Inc., one of the nation's strongest energy-related engineering and environmental consultants, is currently seeking a talented student studying Human Resources, Communications, Business or other related degree for a summer 2024 internship in our Talent Acquisition (TA) Department. Under the guidance of our experienced talent acquisition staff, the successful candidate will be involved in assisting our current TA Coordinators with scheduling phone interviews for selected applicants. You will work with the Recruiters, the Hiring Managers, and Candidates. Success in this role will be demonstrated by delivering high-quality and timely assistance under minimal supervision, helping the Talent Acquisition team to meet their daily objectives. This position will be full-time hours during the summer 3-month internship starting in May through August 2024. This position can either be located in Boise, Idaho or remote within the US. The candidate selected for this position may work remotely full-time at a location other than a POWER-designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a POWER office for periodic meetings. In addition to working under the guidance of experienced team members, the selected intern will also participate in sessions designed to develop your skills and provide networking opportunities. Those sessions include: + Professional Development sessions focused on resume writing, interview tips, building a LinkedIn profile, and more. + Early Talent Speaker Series where leaders speak to interns about their role, their vision for the company, and their career path, offer career advice, and a Q&A session. + Fun Friday activities where interns company-wide join to network and have some fun while doing it. Essential Job Duties + Scheduling and coordinating candidate phone interviews + Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation within the ATS + Additional tasks/analysis as needed to support the talent acquisition team Required Education/Experience + Pursuing a bachelor's in Human Resources, Communications, Business or a related field + Must be able to work in the US without the need for work sponsorship Desired Skills/Experience + Experience using an ATS (Taleo, Workday, ADP, etc.) is a plus + Knowledge of US Labor Laws + Proficient in MS Office Suite + Outstanding written and verbal communication skills + Exhibits good interpersonal and organizational skills + Prior work in an office environment is a plus At POWER Engineers, you can have a rewarding career on every level.
