This position facilitates high school students through effective instruction, curriculum development, and assessment. This Position is responsible for delivering high-quality education within assigned courses, supporting student success, and maintaining program standards. This position will be used to teach at the two Secondary Career Center locations./ph3Essential Duties:/h3ulliFacilitates student learning, provides effective instruction and performs evaluations of student learning for all assigned classes, using each courses standard course outline as a guide./liliObtains the approved paperwork for the Nursing Training Assistant Program (NATP) and maintains student files as required by the Arkansas Office of Long Term Care (OLTC)./liliSustains memorandums of understanding for clinical sites required by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Patient Care Assistant (PCA+) courses and assists with scheduling./liliCompletes all paperwork required to have Headmaster testing on-site for state licenser./liliWorks with other faculty and administrators in developing program curriculum, standards, and policies, including reviewing and participating in textbook selection process where appropriate./liliAssign grades, maintains course/student records in accordance with FERPA regulations, and submit grade and records by established deadlines./liliSchedules, supervises, debriefs, and evaluates students in clinical, internship, observation, and field experience, and similar setting as appropriated for the course or program./liliServes students via email, phone, or personal conferences. The method of contact and hours of availability should be clearly communicated to supervisors and to students through the course syllabus each semester./liliMeets all classes and other scheduled responsibilities such as office hours and meeting at the designated times./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulpRate of pay: determined by faculty scale placement (education and years of experience)/ppCompleted applications received by 12/22/2025 will be assured full consideration.
