Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an active OH or compact license and strong specialty experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry hospital unit
• Night shift schedule with 4x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Assignment may be extended up to 18 months per client approval
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation with two attempts to pass
• PBDS assessment is waived
• Annual and pre-start modules are required and completed based on specialty
• Badging and fingerprinting must be completed onsite before start
• Assignments cannot exceed 18 consecutive months without approval, after which a 6 month break is required
• Facial hair PAPRs only permitted with approved medical or religious exemption

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active Ohio or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the MS/Tele specialty prior to traveling
• Active, current BLS certification required
• Must provide at least one supervisory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• No open background check cases or license hits accepted
• Negative 10-panel and nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start
• Must complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of signing contract
