How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)\nDelta will be offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus to new hires!\n\n\t* Assign, lead, direct, escort, and approve work of technicians and third-party project contractors. \n\t* Follow up on assigned tasks through completion including reporting results of daily assigned tasks to management in a timely manner. Communicate unfinished tasks to next shift technicians.\n\t* Ensure the maintenance management system if applicable, is updated daily..

\n\t* Maintain, alter, repair, install and assemble all equipment and building systems associated with the facilities infrastructure. \n\t* Perform basic repairs to maintain physical appearance of the facility. Familiarity with facilities equipment and infrastructure to perform such work at Delta Air Lines as required.\n\t* Ensure continuous reliability of Facilities Maintenance Operations through required maintenance and repairs while following all Delta Air Lines policy and all local state and federal guidelines.

Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.\n\t* Maintain, alter, repair or assemble and operate applicable equipment or fixtures for which facilities maintenance operations are responsible. This includes but is not limited to; HVAC; Chilled Water Systems; Hot Water Heating Systems; Pumps; Refrigeration; Basic Plumbing; Fire Protection Systems; Electrical Systems from 50 to 13,800 volts; Emergency or back-up Generators; Transformers; and Manual/ Automatic Transfer Switches. \n\t* Perform work at acceptable quality and productivity standards as communicated by facilities management.\n\t* Maintain a satisfactory record of regulatory training in facilities maintenance operations and all safety training required.\n\t* Maintain, monitor and operate the building management system.\n\nThe starting pay for Facilities Technician in MSP is $29.73 per hour plus $4/hr premium for applicable boiler licensing.

\n\nInternal Movement Eligibility: \n\n\t* Must be in good standing in current position (no formal performance development - Written Coaching Letter, Corrective Action Notice, or Final Corrective Action notice - within the past 6 months).\n\t* Must be in current role for at least 1 year.\n\n\nWhat you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)\n* Class 1B boiler license is a MUST.\n\t* Current hiring 3rd shift 10pm to 6am; some weekends\n\t* Valid Driver’s License and good driving record required.\n\t* Demonstrates that privacy is a priority when handling personal data.\n\t* Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles.\n\t* Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority.\n\t* Applicable license (s) requirements include at least one of the following licenses through the State of Minnesota: Boiler license (class 1B a MUST), Electrician License, Gas Pipe License, Steam Pipe License, Refrigerant License, or Locksmith License. \n\t* SIDA badge required. \n\t* Working knowledge of facilities mechanical and/or electrical equipment as applicable.
