Job Overview

Responsibilities  

• Assist the Floor Manager with the smooth operation of the accommodation and dining service functions.
• Ensure that all guests receive a warm welcome friendly and memorable welcome
• Where appropriate ensure that comments and complaints are reported to management
• Keep up to date with availability, promotions and pricing in order to provide advice to guests as necessary and maximize sales opportunities
• Assist guest with payment processing when needed/ requested by guest
• Ensure that guest areas are well maintained at all times
• Assist with running food/ beverage when needed
• Any other duties as directed by the Floor Manager or other member of the management team

• Excellent customer service, including patience and a friendly demeanor
• Exceptional organization and time management
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Great active listening skills
• Ability and willingness to collaborate
• Knowledge of foodservice regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Capability to learn quickly and memorize menu details
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to work flexible work schedules that include nights and weekends
• Physically able to be on their feet for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds unassisted
