Entry level UI/UX Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. To be successful in this role, you should have some experience with design software and wireframe tools, create products such as websites, mobile apps, and web apps, using an iterative process rooted in design thinking, have some user-centric problem-solving approach that drives a continuous cycle of experimentation, validation, and refinement.

Qualifications

Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
Portfolio of design projects.
Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision).
Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Team spirit: strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Good time-management skills.
BSc in Design, Computer Science, or relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and defining problems.
• Product design.
• User research and tailoring products according to user research.
• Ideation using affinity maps, empathy maps, user personas, and journey maps.
• User interface design.
• User experience testing.
• Information architecture.
• Sketching, wireframing, and prototyping.
• Using visual design tools.
• Knowledge of graphic design principles and creative design solutions.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Graphic design: 3 years (Preferred)
