Entry Level to Experienced HVAC Engineer/Designer and Cad Operator (Encourage to apply from long distance commuters.)

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Must like to work in the industry of architectural engineering consulting.
• Must work independently and reliably based on company standard procedures.
• Experienced Engineer Level: Min 2-year experience with A/E with good AutoCAD skills.
• Entry Level: Some experience in CAD
• Education: College in engineering or architectural school. (preferred)
• Knowledge in all related current codes (preferred)
• Software skills: Excellent AutoCAD skills and familiar with Hap, EnergyPro, Trace 700. (plus)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform field verification tasks confirming as-built conditions. 
• Verify provision of upgrade HVAC system service when existing is not adequate.
• Generate field verification reports.
• Perform engineering calculations confirming load and service requirements based on Code and program requirements.
• Prepare engineered plans. Engineered plans are consisted of the following: equipment schedules, load and Title 24 calculations, and mechanical plans based on project specifications and project manual.
• Mostly government projects in LA County Area.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Mostly residential projects based on template designs.
• Start early and leave early potential. (Encourage to apply from long distance commuters.)
• Full-time potential.
• For mechanical engineer/designer, willing to learn and assist electrical design.

AutoCAD Drafter (Encourage to apply from long distance commuters.)

• Seeking Independent AutoCAD Drafter for in-house design/drafting on an as-needed basis. Please submit resume with desired hourly rates.
