We are seeking individuals interested in having a positive impact on the life of a 31-year-old man on the Autism Spectrum. This Emotional Support/Life Skills Coach position involves working directly with this young man in his home in Lititz, PA and surrounding community. It is expected that he will have two staff with him at all times. This Support Person will meet the qualifications specified below.

This young man has distinct likes and hobbies and knows what he likes to do. He enjoys all outside activities including hunting for bugs and snakes and going fishing. He is very fun to be around and hang out with. He enjoys singing and listening to music.

Qualifications for this position:
Have a valid drivers license.
Submit to a criminal background check.
Be physically able and willing to accompany this high energy young man in outside activities including in the woods and around streams and lakes.
Participate in training regarding the young mans service and behavior plan and follow those plans as well as guidance from his Behavior Specialists and Parents.
Be able to stay calm in stressful situations.

Also, MUST possess one or more of the following:

• Bachelors Degree or higher in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or Gerontology
• Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst
• Registered Behavior Technician
• NADD Competency-Based Direct-Support Professional Certification
• NADD Competency Based Clinical Certification
• NADD Competency-Based Dual Diagnosis Certification

Preferences for these positions:

• Experience with Individuals on the autism spectrum
• Enjoy the outdoors and not be put off by bugs or snakes
• Play a musical instrument or enjoy music
