Director of Property Management – Commercial

📍 Onsite – Fort Wayne, Indiana

💼 Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity

💰 $130,000–$140,000 base + annual bonus potential + generous benefits

Are you a seasoned commercial property professional ready to take on a hands-on leadership role ? We’re hiring a Director of Property Management to oversee a small but high-performing portfolio in Fort Wayne, IN , including a flagship Class A office property and other premium assets.

This is a full-time, onsite, and long-term leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic, roll-up-your-sleeves environment. You’ll lead both the strategic oversight and day-to-day operations of a five-property commercial portfolio.

🔑 What You’ll Do:

• Oversee operations for five commercial properties , including direct management of one Class A office asset.
• Lead and mentor two Property Managers , guiding performance and supporting their professional development.
• Develop, manage, and track annual budgets, financial forecasts , and capital improvement plans.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across all properties (local, state, federal).
• Foster strong tenant relationships and drive retention strategies that support long-term asset value.
• Manage vendor contracts, service providers , and capital projects.
• Collaborate with ownership and executive leadership on asset strategy and performance goals.
• Deliver timely, detailed reporting on property operations and financials.
• Use Yardi daily for property operations, budgeting, and financial management.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Extensive experience in commercial property management or strong leadership within commercial real estate.
• Demonstrated financial expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight.
• Proven ability to lead teams , communicate clearly, and manage performance.
• Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
• Balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution .
• Comfortable managing competing priorities and adapting as needed.
