eLearning Developer (Remote)

This role centers on the development of an engaging, Gen Z-focused curriculum for an asynchronous learning environment. It involves collaboration with a User Experience team, developing from their provided wireframes using Articulate Storyline, and creating the final product onto the Coursera platform.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and design interactive educational content using Articulate Storyline, incorporating advanced Java, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Create and optimize SCORM-compliant courses for Coursera, ensuring solid back-end functionality and a smooth user experience.
• Work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop high-quality, inclusive learning content with customized coding solutions.
• Use Java and JavaScript to enhance interactivity, dynamic content, and complex learner experiences within eLearning modules.
• Ensure all materials adhere to Universal Design Learning (UDL) and equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) principles.
• Meet strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality output with regard to web accessibility and responsive design.

Required Qualifications:
• Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for developing interactive eLearning modules.
• Experience developing from wireframes provided by UI designers.
• Knowledge of creating courses in Coursera using iframes and other integrations.
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and SCORM-compliant content development.
• Advanced proficiency with Articulate Storyline.
• Demonstrated ability to create curriculum and eLearning experiences for diverse, global audiences.
• Familiarity with using APIs and integrating third-party services into educational platforms.
• Strong collaboration skills, with experience working in fast-paced environments.
• Professionalism in a virtual environment.
• Degree in Learning Experience Design, Instructional Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with personalized learning methodologies, project-based learning, and gamified learning techniques.
• Expertise in UDL, web accessibility standards (WCAG), and responsive design best practices.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
