Creative Director - Art The Creative Director of Art will be responsible for conceptualizing results-oriented advertising and marketing content across all mediums, including digital, social, print, collateral, radio, broadcast, and experiential. This role requires persuasive presentation skills to sell concepts internally, to senior leaders, and clients. The individual must establish marketing strategies and create highly creative products based on brand strategy. We seek a curious, driven, results-oriented, and highly creative professional capable of managing multiple projects, deadlines, and producing effective creative work. Responsibilities: Lead and inspire teams to develop and sell big ideas Ensure creative executions meet high craftsmanship standards Position and sell creative concepts with persuasive rationale aligned with project objectives, strategies, and budgets Review and approve creative work before internal and client presentations Build and maintain relationships with key clients Approve creative briefs prepared by the strategy team Oversee work assignments, ensuring communication across departments and with clients Provide constructive critique and impactful feedback on creative work Guide and manage the ACD, AD, and CW teams Negotiate with Account Management to prioritize tasks amid scheduling conflicts Collaborate with the Creative Resource team to assign resources as needed Contribute to new business proposals, from concept to final pitch, including crafting compelling written responses Represent the agency professionally in interactions with clients, staff, vendors, and others Participate in recruitment by reviewing portfolios and interviewing candidates Stay current with industry trends and apply them strategically Qualifications: 10+ years in a creative leadership role, preferably in an agency setting At least two years' experience in creative partnership with a Copywriter Strong portfolio demonstrating work across multiple mediums and industries Proven ability to manage and motivate creative teams including Copywriters, Art Directors, Designers, and Production Artists Excellent project management skills, with ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines Collaborative mindset with account and strategy teams Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite Proficiency in deck-building tools like PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Leadership qualities and management skills Adaptability to changing briefs and priorities Passion for learning and self-improvement Proactive, self-starter attitude Positive outlook and ability to work under tight deadlines At Ogilvy, our people are at the heart of what we do: a creative agency that sparks game-changing ideas across culture and business through collaboration, integrity, and a celebration of self-expression.
