POSITION TITLE: Controller

BENEFITS: Standard Package

COMPENSATION: Competitive Salary + DOE

LOCATION: Tyler, Texas

SUMMARY: This dual-role position is essential for managing financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting skills and prior experience in an oil & gas services environment.

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable
• Manage payroll processing and related compliance tasks
• Develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including tax laws and DOT requirements
• Implement and refine office procedures and administrative workflows
• Supervise office staff and support functions as the company grows
• Work closely with leadership to maintain financial health and operational efficiency

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller or Office Manager role
• Prior experience in the oil & gas services industry strongly preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of the full Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of DOT transportation and pipeline regulations
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
